By far the most valuable for the price item we carry, so we have 2 of them. This lets you charge 5 USB items and a computer at once and we’ve never been in a place where it didn’t work. Get 2 of these and save yourself lots of trouble on the road.
Ok, so you bring a lot of electronics with you. We do too! That’s why we carry a high capacity charger that will charge two USB devices at once. Great for a tablet, phone or computer. This one doesn’t need an outlet to charge your devices so it really helps out when your battery is running low.

It doesn’t matter which one you get, but get a hanging toiletry bag. You’ll be in lots of tight spaces including trains and hotels with small bathrooms. This will save you precious counter space and more importantly make sure your stuff doesn’t fall on the floor!
You’ll need a foldable duffle bag in your travels. Picture this: you are in Japan and you’ve shipped your big suitcases ahead (yes, you’ll do that). You need a small bag to carry some extra essentials that don’t usually go in your carry on. Enter the foldable duffle bag. You won’t notice carrying it because it is so small folded up, but it’ll make a big difference when needed.
The backpack that Allie used for many years. If you want an inexpensive big back pack that won’t let you down, this is the one. We’ve since moved from backpacks to roller bags, but if you are going the backpack route this is a good one.
You accidentally bought a bunch of extra cameras and computers like Rob did. Maybe you also want to launch a drone from the hard shell of your backpack, or carry an xbox. This is the backpack for you. Seriously, if you have expensive gear, the hard shells of this backpack will make you feel better about moving around with it, and it’s huge.
Packing cubes to organize and help keep your checked bags manageable.
We prefer our carry on roller bags to have a zipper front compartment that fits a computer or iPad and headphones for quick access on the plane.
The checked bag we bought Allie broke, so we are not recommending it. This JEEP bag that was for Rob has been great, so it is recommended!
You may want these activated charcoal capsules if you plan to eat street food or any food that you are not accustomed to.
For sea sickness or motion sickness we use the 2 following items.

The travel router we use to keep our data safe and have less things to hook up in every hotel.
Lots of hotels. Lots of thin walls. This white noise machine might help you sleep longer. It helps us.
You would be surprised how many hotels and AirBnb’s do not have lights in the bathroom. Carry this with you and you’ll have it when you need it.
Get these air tags and put one in each of your checked bags and your carry on bags. You’ll always know where you bags are, which is very reassuring.
A wallet optimized for travel is important. Rob loves this wallet because of the quick access for cards mechanism. Not for credit cards, but for hotel keys and metro cards. It works amazingly well.
